Default Where are my pictures and other files? (renown?)

I have ctrl f-11 a dozen times.. I don't know where it puts the pictures..

Also I am trying to find where I change the renown level to give me renown by getting to my patrol area..

I have searched everywhere and cannot find it

Also.. whats the deal with Benard? I keep seeing people reference this person.. Who is he?

Lol

Your pictures SHOULD be in your base silent hunter 3 folder, thats where mine go, as far as your basic .cfg file or whatever it is to edit renown, I have no clue.

Bernard was created in the humorous picture thread, basically, somebody used his name as a reference as a guy doing something idiotic in the picture ( I believe it was riding a torpedo) and it evolved into a joke that now anything and everything that goes wrong, blame on Bernard

Ex; you blow up a German merchant, blame Bernard because HE didnt identify it right

I believe a certain 'Ferret' somewhere in Finland is to blame for
'The Legendary Bernard'.

To manually re-enable the stock renown awards for reaching your patrol grid and then staying there for 24 hours, see this post:

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...3&postcount=19

The mod that will do it for you, also referred to in that post, can be found here:

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=1182

Bernard was "born" in this the first post of this thread:

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=84773

and has been the bane of many a kaleun ever since.

Sorry, won't work. Shoot him, tie him to an anchor and drop him overboard in the deepest water you can find, and when you go below he'll be in the aft torpedo room waiting to 'be of service' yet again. You will always make stupid mistakes, and he'll always be there to blame.

Hmm this is true. I may keep him then to keep from being courtmarshled for things like shooting a German merchant. Always handy to have a scape goat

Not at all true, he does exist and he's currently residing in my U-boat - he's alone on the wintergarten just now whilst the rest of the crew have a siesta as we travel across the Bay of Biscay! He has the greatest kill ratio of any of my men, and it's up to the tribunal to sort the wheat from the chaff - or the Axis from the Allies. Only yesterday, 2 July 1940, he single-handedly completed the sinking of SS Arandora Star... boy, did we party after that!

Just before the outbreak of war he was quite successful working in a radio station near the German/Polish border...

Are you talking about the Renown Replacement mod? I downloaded it from here with no problems but that's been a while back.

At any rate, it's just as easy (if not easier) to edit your basic.cfg as noted in the post I linked to.
