Default So question.

Since I had all 3 I figured Id try and install 4. And I did, and the funny thing is (besides when Im in port with alot of trees around and such) the game actually works BETTER than III, I mean I did a mission quickly and where as 3 had problems (small framerate drops) when I moved in free cam around a huge fleet, 4 didnt have that problem, AND the water reflected how it was supposed too AND the graphics are a bit higher, hmmm

Probably engine improvements.

Definitely engine improvements. One of the things SH4 brought to the table is load times. It only loads the six-month period surrounding the immediate game date, rather than the entire war as in SH3.

Hmm I noticed this. Now I really wish SH3 could use SH4 game engine and graphics, i definately like the look of this one but the mods of SH3 are just sooo addicting Heck since SH4 works so well I may try SH5 to see how she works on my computer.

Be aware that SH5 is much newer than either of its predecessors, and the minimum specs for running it at all (much less at its full potential) reflect that. Not every machine that runs SH3/4 with all the bells and whistles enabled will have what it takes to run SH5. Check out the system requirements against what you've got before you spend the money.

SH5 also requires a permanent internet connection - you must be logged on to Ubi's servers for the duration of every gaming session in order to play the game at all. If that's problematic or impossible for you, it's probably not a worthwhile purchase even if your computer can handle all the other requirements.
