Eden POW Camp

I've been meaning to post these for a few months now but never got around to it.

I did a favour for a local community transport company in June this year and drove a busload of elderly gentlemen for a day outing to Eden Camp in Malton, North Yorkshire.

As I recall the camp was used to intern Italian POW's during WWII

My reward....free entry plus a £5 food and drink voucher for the driver and most importantly, seeing the looks on some of those gentlemens faces as they beamed with pride as they reminisced with each other during the visit
