Default Need some Advice,

I wanted to know what mod has the most realistic sinking mechanics?
I have tried the "game fixes only mod" it's mechanics are terrbile like 6 torps to kongo and he is still running, is this realistic?

Sounds like you're talking more damage than the actual sinking mechs. The Kongo was a large BB so 6 wouldn't be unrealistic. I've sunk the Kongo with 3 to 8 torps. Try aiming and hitting at different points, mostly turrets. Most ships just didn't go down, it can take hours. Often in the game ships may move along for miles before the damage gets bad enough to sink. The enemy ships like yours have crews with different ratings, with veteran or elite crews they can repair much faster.

Hmm.. Try hitting the boat itself at different places, Rear, bow and a few on the mid should punch it down.

People have noticed the problem with sinking mechanics throughout the Silent Hunter series and have worked to make it better. The stock game is based on a hit point system and mods have turned this into a compartment flooding system.
Modders have spent a lot of time revamping the ships compartments and the sinking system. You can find such a system included in Real Fleet Boat, which will be expanded to cover all the available ships in the mod.
Natural Sinking Mechanics is available to mod the stock game. Check the Downloads section.

Please note that the Natural Sinking Mechanics mod was produced before SH4UBM was released. That add-on introduced several surface ships not covered by Natural Sinking Mechanics. If you encounter one of those it will still sink in the stock manner. Other than that it should work OK. I wouldn't use it with any of the supermods because of unwanted interactions with them. I'd only use it with GFO or the stock game.
