You have some very graphic intensive mods in there. I had CTD with 8GB of ram running those mods until I installed the 4GBpatch.

Hi mate,
I fully agree with HW3, you need the /4GB patch. HanSolo mentions the patch/es in his original sub Pens posting. The BIG mods such as FM Interiors, Animated sub-pens need that patch when used with lots of other mods let alone when all used toghether as I do. You will get CTDs, I would get a CTD every time without the /3GB patch for Windows XP-Pro. As there's no way that my 4GB of RAM would get used without it and it needs that RAM to stack so many mods in memory. Best Regards Aces.

Okay mate but I think it would help, I've read posts saying that the 4GB patch is required to run these with Windows 7. I am 99.99999% sure that the problem is memory-related.
AFAIK you can backup the required files first and try it. Best Regards Aces PS. I have observed that if I try and run these mods after I have worked on the computer for a while then I either get a CTD or the game ceases to repond about 90/95% through campaign load. I re-boot the PC, close down and non-required system tray-loaded programs and run the game straight away and no-problem, loads 100% every time without fail. This has to be a memory issue as, with a clean boot there's no memory clutter and thus eveyrthing works as it shoud. I have 4GB of RAM but my guess is that with all these big mods loaded I can just scrape home provided I run from clean boot. I'm always in and out of S3ditor, Photoshop etc. and they are nibbling away at the RAM so a clean-boot with the patch is, IMO, the way to go.

You do need the 4GB patch. I am running Vistax64 with 8GB ram and need it.

Hi mate,
Glad you got it all running. CTRL+V and SHIFT+V to raise/lower the DF antenna. CTRL+A and SHIFT+A to raise/lower the radio antenna. CTRL+F and SHIFT+F to raise/lower the flag. You don't need a key for the pens?, you will start in them at the beginning of a campaign. start a career in 1941 from St.Nazaire. Check out my Super Pens v4 thread if you want the latest version and activate in JSGME last, in place of the "Aces' Super Pens v3 for Wilhelmshafen,St Naz. Schleuse and xtra ships v5" that you are currently running. I presume you are using GWX3 in which case download the GWX version 4 of the pens mod, not the WAC or LSH versions. Best Regards Aces
