Would it be possible to make it so can send a contact report from periscope depth as subs could in RL since they could raise their antenna.Sucks having to come up to 37 feet in a fleet boat to send one.Just thought about this since going to be in contact with task forces soon, June 1944

May need to send contact reports and going decks awash when close enough to send contact report on a TF is a good way to ruin your day.

Be a good idea, not sure how it would work or if the pieces are there.

Still, sending contacts doe's nothing for you except make you feel good and give your position away. As I stated in the other thread, be nice to have a mod that gave you points for reporting TF & convoys, be even nicer if you got more points for important capital ships, then you would have a reason for doing so. Often subs saved the day by just reporting TF, such as in the Philippines Sea where they were given a no shoot order or report first, shoot later. Another important item left out.
