For some stupid reason which I can't figure out, people like to move to and live in California. As a Native here, this drives me batty since every year it gets worse and worse. Kinda like apartment rent. It only goes up, not down. A one bedroom in upland, next to the projects, runs 1100 dollars a month, with a 20 to 40 dollar increase annually.
So needless to say, IT'S CROWDED HERE. (How I wish all these out of state people would back where they came from.) Anywho, with all that people congestion comes traffic congestion. And with that congestion there are certain things you can count on. 1.) Mentality of drivers: "Me first" and "Not in front of me". Everyones stepping over some idiot trying to get to where they are going. The more people crowding up the place, the less patience people have. 2.) There is always traffic. And if there is no traffic, fear not, CalTrans will make some for you! Thus, there is always traffic. Now throw Obama's visit in on top of that. http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la...,7604411.story That article doesn't say so, but I've heard of people being stuck in traffic for THREE to FOUR HOURS because of Obama. I don't care who you are, you DO NOT shut down a freeway..... ANY freeway, in southern california during rush hour. |
