Does your own passive ecm affect youre boat too? Like passive sonar etc? We had a fun moment with my pal couple of weeks ago. He was hunting me, and I was hunting my own passive ECM..

By ecm you mean passive sonar countermeasures ? In that case, yes, sure. We call them CM .. ECM usually means Electronic Counter-Measures, and is used against radar (not part of DW).

If you are talking about passive countermeasures the term passive is misleading, they are not passive them selves they just fool passive torpedoes by broadcasting noise across the spectrum.
