Default Red marks in recognition manual

Notice that some ships have red marks - mainly above the funnels - there for any specific reason.

I am also just starting to learn attacking using the Easy AOB mod and I am having difficulty getting the range with the stad - any tips ?

Running TMO 1.9 + RSRDC

You probably have the 'Ship Centered Accuracy Fix' installed. What this does it changes the height of certain ships from mast height to funnel (or, for some carriers, deck) height. The red mark in the recognition manual shows you where to have the second images' water line for a correct range measurement.

What version of TMO are you running. Seems it was included with some of the older versions, but not with 1.9. Could you be running 1.7...seems that version may have had SCAF, but 1.9 didn't.
