Default Can dive planes get stuck

Had em get damaged all time..Got damaged this time, watched one DC hit right on the planes and I was heading up. However, with other damage my stern was pointed down.
Usually you have to use speed to keep from heading down, but even 1kt would send me up. If I didn't cut speed I would surface. Stop engines, head for the bottom stern first, speed up keep going up.

Escaped, but no doubt planes damaged, took over 70 seconds to crash dive in a Gato, but same thing...if I used any speed I would come up as if planes were stuck in going up position. When you hit P and watch the planes they would open a tad, but not fold out..not the glitch where they don't show, because they somewhat opened, hitting keys you could shut them and open them a tad.

No matter what, after all repairs my sub acted as if planes were stuck in up position, I could never hold even scope depth with any speed without surfacing. I don't ever recall a damage like this where any speed sent me to the surface. It didn't act like a bug, acted like plane up damage..

Docked and they repaired fine.

Makes sense. I've had that happen with the rudder - making a turn and caught a depth charge on the stern. Rudder was destroyed and jammed to starboard - game over for me.

At least you were able to survive and make it to port for repairs. Knowing that things like that can happen make this game even more fun

Can't remember my rudder damaged in a turn position causing circles. No doubt my planes acted stuck in the up position...just hard for me to believe the game scripts these things...first I've ever had my planes stuck in up position forcing me up all the time..
