Default Uninstall remove issues

Hi guys . Been running SH% for a couple of weeks with no issues. Yesterday it froze the computer, finally managed to get the task manager to re-start the computer (It would not stop the app)
Tried to run, it will not get past the updater.
did an uninstall and re-loaded, issue was still there.
Did a sys resote incase something happened to the reg etc, no go.
tried to uninstall and it wont, tells me an attempted install is incomplete.
can not delete any of it, so tried manualy, including a swipe of the reg to clean any residue.
When I put the disk in it does not allow an install and will not uninstall.

Anyone know WHERE ALL THE FILES ARE so I can clear this darn software and start again!!
Right now I have a useless disk I spent good money on, and I am a fan!! bought every SH since day one. this one was getting good, just cleared 75% of a convoy when this happened. the stupid play site has no record of me or my login so all the games I saved are most likely gone..

If any of the Ubisoft folk read this,, the stupid internet restriction is crap,
If this was a stand alown I may stand a chance at recovery, this is now complex

Default

Have not done an uninstall with 5, but with 3 & 4 you also had to get rid of the files in My Documents. With 5 it seems files are in My Documents, in Program Files under Ubisoft and also the main install under Ubisoft, at least that is how it is with XP.

So I am guessing they all would have to go.

figured out

Sorry if I took up bandwidth, I fixed the issue.
Downloaded revo un-installer pro, cost me 39 dollars and change but you would not believe how many files it found. I downloaded a trial and it did the job, did not have to buy it, so if anyone has the same issue here is a way out!!
Now, as to what caused this in the first place, who knows.

Default thanks

Thanks for the replies guys, much appreciated, this was a bummer, as I said, the program had files buried all over the place!

The sad thing is that up to then I have had absolutely no issues with SH5, other than the re-training on how to use the interface, I have found the thing quite good.. there are some silly things like having two torpedoes in the forward torpedo room (when walking around )after you have fired them all!!

It has a much better overall look than the last one with all those tinfoil Jap ships..

Happy sailing, and be nice to pirates in subs. ARRG
