Old Subsim Gamer- New to the forums.

Hello one and all. Ive been an avid subsim player since the release of SH3. I used to be a sonar operator in the Canadian Navy, during which time I was primarily involved in ASW activity. So hunting with torpedoes is near and dear to my heart and I still get massive thrills from it, even if it is done on my PC.
Up till now I haven't really felt a need to post in these forums. All of my concerns regarding SH3 and SH4 have usually been duly addressed by others. However, after purchasing SH5 upon its release, it has become clear that Ubisoft's game has many glaring issues. So many, in fact, that I now feel the need to get involved in these forums. Its about time anyway.

The truth is: SH5 has all the potential in the world to become the best subsim ever made, but currently it falls well short of this goal. Luckily though, the SH series has always enjoyed massive improvements by some of the best that the modding community has to offer. I'm not a modder myself but I hope to help out in any way I can through testing, feedback and such. I'm really looking forward to the future of SH5. Good Hunting

Danke und Sieg!
