Does anyone know the true rate of descent, I seem to be able to dive very fast from a periscope depth position when I am going 1/3 ahead

Hello,
the boats were able to dive very fast, in case they flooded additional "cells", even at low speeds - but they would then need pressured air, to bail (right expression?) those flooded cells again, at the desired depth. So if you lose more pressured air after a fast dive, than as if you are going deeper dynamically through propulsion and rudder alone, i guess that should be ok. Greetings, Catfish |

To me it looks rather fast going from periscope depth to surface, or from 20 meters to surface.. faster then we got used to in GWX!

My thoughts too. I liked the suspense in GWX wondering if you could get down or to the surface in time to engage or hide
