Default Officer quarters into type VII?

This message goes to Ubi developers in Romania.I thought Uboats,at least type VII and forward had an Officer compartment with a table where to rest, have meals, etc, at least it shows this way on the movie Das Boot.Could development team include that with a further patch?

Great idea. Think someone has already asked for a wardroom

A wardroom seems to be in the making by one of the modders. Its 50% done so he claims!

No you dont, You need to remove the top bunk and put some stuff on the table, Maybe some plates and cups suggesting its the wardroom. Finally it should be moded so you can actually sit there.

Maybe a command key that put the other officers there as well. Then you can have those silly conversations where they would actually take place.

Not more talking to the crew, in my case. In fact I dislike the whole thing.

But if you're going to have casual conversation it might as well take place where it really would take place. Officers don't discuss their personal lives in front of the men.

yeah, I'm learning how to use Blender 3d to work on the interior of the sub, she needs crates of food and nets of bread wedged in every nook and cranny, and the floors are wrong, cept' the forward torp room. the position and layout of the lights are all wrong, and if anyone else hasn't noticed, THERE'S NO TORP LOADING HATCH! also wanna make it so that the bunkbeds fold down in the torp room and crew fill in the beds when there is no nothing to load, and not at action stations. also wanna make an awsome wardroom, with stuff to read there and a place to sit, with glasses and coffee cups sliding around the table
if someone else is working on the same thing, i'd like to help out if possable

Have you figured out how to import/export the GR2 files?

Or interiors that reflect the differences between the various types

Just like in SH3 all the subs models shared the same conning tower and radio/sonar room (with the exception of type II), it seems that in SH5 the only notable difference is in the electrical compartment where the launch tube is not shown.

Whoa there buddy, slow down! We don't even know if the interior can be easily changed at this time, let alone add a ton of new details.

I thought the head was used for food until used up....I was under the impression the lads used buckets.

Can anyone do an animation of the XO curling one out in a bucket???

There were two toilets, usually the "big" one was filled with food and provisions. The smaller one alone had to serve the needs of 40-50 assess.
