One if the cool features sh-3 had was that the u-boat was affected by the waves at periscope depth. To overcome this you had do go below 25 meters. But for some reason they removed this from sh-4 and thus never made it in sh-5 as well. I would love to see the back in sh-5

What wave effects on the periscope are you referring to?
Waves hitting/washing over it? unstable view? I've played SH3 and I've no clue what your talking about ![]() |

Waves are actually only the top of the water, which moves with a rolling motion. U-boats in SH3 still display some rolling and pitching movement when at periscope depth, and in a storm sometimes as deep as 30 meters.
I like that too. I didn't notice it's not in SH4; I guess I wasn't paying attention. Not in SH5 either? Too bad. ![]()
