Sub Camouflage

I have a little question, I was docked in port and I saw an option to add Camouflage (of course, being in a VIIA I didn't have any options open) to your boat. I am curious what this is all about, can somebody throw a teaser in ole' SH427's direction about the camouflage options? I might just go back to skinning (

) and not major modding (maybe after we get this Goblin Editor sorted out and we start seeing some signs of what I'm good at coming about, Then I will bring my modding skills to bear,) but I need to know how this camouflage system works. What kinda designs are available etc.
