Default Just noticed a new map feature

Has anyone else noticed that if you highlight an enemy airfield in the navmap it shows the patrol area?

A nice touch, that. Very handy

Yes, I find the map to be an improvement over previous titles. I also like the way it shows the predicted position of other ships when you move your waypoints (if you have map contacts on).

If only they got rid of the typos in the map labels (German version) and add the BdU quadrants, it would be so much better.

Yes, also the aircraft type that's operating out of that base (though perhaps that was in SH4, but I didn't buy it). Likewise the ports sometimes display any known warships stations there.

There are a lot of nice features in SH5, I must say. It's such a shame that most of the praise is lost in the constant reports of problems that people are having, but unfortunately there are a lot of glitches and it's right that they are reported!

I think in the early part of the war that's what aircrafts did : air scout patrol.

Later they were equiped to do anti-sub missions.

Is is also shown if any big warships are in a harbor if you click on it. Nice feature, like a reconaissance report.

Try it at Scapa Flow.
