Default Hai, guize!! I got a temp a shade over 102 F.!!!

Last night, the sluice gates at both ends opened up, and I have absolutely no appetite. I have a work-related meeting I'm supposed to be at at 1915, my time. I don't think I'm going to make it!!!

So, how has your day been going?

Well, I feel a bit loopy. I feel better, now, after having taken some meds.

Yikes, hope you feel better.

Shame about the meeting, though.

Keep sipping liquids. Don't dehydrate. And crackers are always good till you can get some lite meals down.

Hope ya feel better mate.

I've been fighting a low level thing too so, misery has some company.

You know what's funny? I had three slices of bread and got HEARTBURN!!! It's probably connected to my illness in some way, but I thought that was strange, all the same.

Take it easy for a week or two. If body temperature goes over 102 - 104 Fahrenheit then you should contact a doctor. If it stays over 100 or around 100 for 5 + days then also contact a doctor. Some pain medicines will lower the temperature but on the other hand you need the fever because it gets rid of the whatever flu etc. is in your body. Fever is just a symptom.

And remember to drink, vitamin c is good, some believe in onion, garlic, honey, spicy food if you can eat...

Well, my temp is down to 99 F. I think I'm out of the woods.

I had an over almost overwhelming desire for orange juice when the illness first struck. I couldn't keep it down. But I'm (somewhat) better, now!!

Wow. Under what circumstances did that happen? Did you go to the hospital?

102 is my "top score." And I did indeed feel like concentrated, pure fecal matter.

When I had my dose of swine flue I stayed at 103 for about 3 or 4 days and felt like death. I'm sure it got higher than that but only measured when I was awake.
