They're not depressed, they're well-drilled. Ordered not to abandon ship under any circumstance. Deck-strolling was a vital part of WWII naval warfare! One did not simply abandon his post when ordered to stroll.

I'm very concerned about this as it seems that since the Devs took the time to model a, complete, interior, FP view and "Realstic" Crewmen, that have realistic reations/annimations, and proper responses and annimations, reactions to drastic situations should have been OBVIOUS!

Unfortunately I don't think that this is Moddable so lets hope that it is addressed by the Devs...

Stop cheating with the external camera . The crew of the ships are all playing a captain simulator, so obviously they all want to stoicly go down with the ship.

I already pointed this out. Basic glitch. Since SHIV they fell over and "died" whenever you hit the ship hard enough, I think it's fair to presume the code is still there. Hopefully for the devs it's just a matter of plugging it in. Report it in one of the sticky bug threads and surely the devs will pay mind.

Also, I find it a bit unfair to proclaim sky-is-falling sorts of problems with this game due to graphical glitches a day before the thing is even due in stores. Heck, by the time most people get it, there's a good chance a patch will pop up...

To this day I am amazed in sh4 how the gun crew grips to the deck defying gravity oblivious to their fate.

It's one of those things that make it a 'game' you know they just havent figured it out yet. Sometimes you cant sweat the small stuff.

At Leyte Gulf the crew of one sinking Japanese destroyer kept firing even as the stern started tilting in the air, like "Titanic's". I'm sure that's what the devs meant to model. Yeah, that's it.

Out of curiosity, where can we find more information on this destroyer? It sounds like a good read.

People have been doing that since the very first trailer. "Is that cook gonna ask if I want to taste the soup every time I walk by? This game stinks!"

Are you talking about the merchants ships crew? Or the sub crew? Well both are actually bad if nothing happens. But In SHIV they reacted. Hope its just a glitch... Has to be the engine is still basically SHIV.

Take it that your crew reacts to nothing either huh? Man really hope for a patch tommorow that addresses some of this.

Ok. The big question for those that already have the game... can you find out in the editor if the animations can be edited through scripting for the crew members? Should be possible. Someone please take a look!

I figured it out. They don't do anything because they're low on morale
