Default Cannot open the screenshot thread

When I try to open the The Unofficial "Official" SH3 screenshot thread! I get following error.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 10410 bytes) in /home/subsimc/public_html/radioroom/showthread.php on line
1275

a simmilar error occurs with the Humorous SHIII picture thread .

Is this an internal error of the forums or is it my browser not supporting it?

I don't know. I'm not having any problems, so it's not Subsim, but it could be any number of things.

Me neither,site appears normal
Podolski, try a virus scanner, its unlikely but you may have a virus or some sort of malware/spyware...really strange one that.

Strange, sounds like a memory issue with your browser, those threads are very pic heavy. wether this is a virus/malware or due to actual memory limitations is hard to tell.

Try deleting all internet history/cookies/caches and temporary files to clean out your browser of any jusnk that might be hogging resources.

Make sure your browser is up to date.

Run a system scan for viruses etc...

After the above, reboot your system to ensure the cache allowance is refreshed.

yup, your computer only allocates a certain amount of room to the browsers cache. you can increase this with a throttle somewhere in its properties though. i think its done by a ratio and not a fixed amount so it varies based on your RAM. if you dont have much RAM and have not rebooted in a few days or done something to clear the temporary memory you may end up getting memory space errors or simply crashing.
all the myths about ruining a computer by turning it off and on every day havent been true since the late 90s, so its perfectly safe to turn off your computer every time you arent using it. many people will simply leave their computers on for over a week and that isnt good.
