Default High pressure explosive laugh of the day

This taught my dinner how to fly.

You thought it is hilarious when excentric American millionaires let themselves freeze in the hope to get defrosted again in a future when they have solved the problem of how making man immortal?

This is stage two of this kind of thinking, imo even better:

Alles klar für Himmelfahrt?

It seems it's always good to have an atheist near you. Every household should have one.

Smart people there I wonder how many people have brought into that.

It's a pity that it's praying on (pardon the pun) peoples feelings towards their animals but I've seen lower targets before in these kind of operations for a fast buck. Their terms and conditions are well written out too, they're covering themselves nicely.

I won't, because they're not praying on them (especially since they're athiests), they're preying on them.

*looks at his Rapture Clock*

*looks at his cat*

Looks like I just saved myself $110! This cat's been around for ages!

Well I for one hope that the Rapture hurries up and gets here since we're almost out of cat food and I would hate to have to buy more than Cat can eat before ascending to Cat Heaven.

Think I'll just stay back and watch her go...

That is hilarious. Genius and hilarious. Genilarious, so to speak

As I am an Atheist, i'll be taking orders now.

But I really wonder if anyone thinks that this "ad" is for real.

They're the athiest? So that means they're athier than what?

Oh, you meant they're atheists.

It is.

In a german newspaper, also today, there was the story of an Italian TV cook who recommended during the live broadcasting to eat cat, and how to prepare them deliciously. Which caused a row, they said.

Makes me wonder if one cannot combine both ideas.

I think you've got a point there.

That Cat eating Idea caused quite an uproar and he lost his Job, I read.
As people are eating Cows, Chicken, Lamb, etc. I would not see a moral or ethical dilemma in eating Cat or Dog.

I once ate Muskrat when I was in Holland and it was quite good.

Good point, and thanks.

I usually proofread all my stuff, but some things just get by.

See, the difference with me is that I'm willing to be corrected.

Which makes me athier that most.

No hard feelings, I just had to do that to the guy with
in his signature.

Besides, you've demonstrated you can take it, now go dish it out!

I would just like to point out that not all Christians are idiots, and not all atheists are enlightened.

This is not directed at you, Sky; we've already talked about this and I think we have an understanding, but I would like to say that I am rapidly growing tired of the condescension atheists show towards Christians and members of other faiths.

Nobody knows whether there is a God or not, but having faith that there is shouldn't be an automatic brand for ridicule. Granted, there are certainly plenty of religious nut-jobs out there, even within Christianity. The religion itself doesn't have a particularly wonderful history, but the tenets of the New Testament remain sound despite the way they have been abused by persons in the past and present. It preaches forgiveness and understanding, but I do not understand what satisfaction one could derive from berating someone who believes in those ideals.

Maybe there is no God, maybe Jesus was just a man, and not a prophet or a divine being. Maybe there is no divinity as it is commonly understood, but that does not mean that there is no divinity. The New Testament and the acts of Jesus may be an expression of the divinity of mankind. I choose to believe that there is a God and that he is omniscient and omnipotent and merciful, and that I must embrace the lessons that he sent his own son to teach us if I am to be worthy of his mercy. What part of that is deserving of condemnation? If I act as a Christian is supposed to act, what cause has anyone for complaint? Acting the way I do because I believe there is a God is functionally no different from someone who acts the same way and doesn't believe there is a God, so what's the problem?

I will not, nor will I ever, condemn any atheist for their beliefs. If it were up to me, I would grant them admission at the gates of Heaven, but I will challenge their beliefs. Of course, not all atheists are dickheads who go around bashing Christians and the like, but to those who do such things I will say this; Those who know God, and really understand what Christianity is about, may well be seeing things from a much broader perspective than you can. In the same way that a child psychologist understands what makes a kid be a bully or an introvert, some of us religious fools understand what makes a spiteful atheist tick.

Atheists often ask "Where is your God now?" or "Why did He allow X or Y to happen if he's so great and merciful?" To me, the answer lies within the nature of life itself. Finding it is not something I can do for you, at least, not within the text limits of this post. The best I can do here is to encourage you to study the life sciences, physics, and philosophy to the maximum extent you can manage and link the common elements of what you have learned. Maybe you'll find God, and maybe you won't, but you'll be no worse off for the journey. I'll even give you a hint; the key is the concept of order.

For anyone who would like to know more, even if its just for their own amusement, feel free to PM me and ask me about Jesus.
