Default SOS can't get jsgme to work on vista or xp

Read all the post in this forum about jsgme and still can't get it to work. Got the PT boat tweaked out for sh4,it runs great .and would like too add more modds . If possible step by step directions load jsgme . I'm missing something thanks. Have sh4 installed in a new folder out side from program files on hard drive, patched 1.4 runs great. Followed the directions to install jsgme to the letter, it says that the modds are activated ,but nothing changes in the game. Can load modds manually and they run . Looking for cruiser to load manually.

First we need to know exactly how you have it installed. Have you used JSGME on other OSes?

If you have JSGME installed correctly the most common problem with some mods is a folder inside a folder. The "Data" folder MUST be the first thing you see when you open the mod folder.

Sometimes you get this:

MyMODName
MY Mod Name
Data

It should be

MyModName
Data

So if your mods have the first one then take everything out of the first folder and copy to the MOD folder.
