Was it Nancy Pelosi or Barbara Boxer who was so politically astute that they had most of the US Navy's nuclear arsenal stashed in the peace-loving city of San Francisco's warehouses for many years? I reference Gallant Lady: A Biography of USS Archerfish in this one.

In both of them, amazing hubris, lack of common sense and the uncompromising ability to hurt the causes they claim to love. They truly fit the sarcastic definition of a liberal: a person far too enlightened to take their own side in an argument. Impassioned, yes. Effective, no.
