Default Cool Book I Picked Up

I was in upstate N.Y. over the weekend, and happened to go into one of those "antique" book stores that have no place to walk because every inch of space is taken up with books. Anyway, I got lost in the military section and came across some great stuff. Vintage LIFE magazines during WW2, authentic repair manuals for tank engines and Half Tracks, as well as official planning maps for Europe and the Pacific.

Since I didn't have a pocket full of cash to spend, I searched for a decently priced book I'd enjoy. I found and purchased: U Boat Commander- A Periscope View Of The Battle Of The Atlantic by Peter Cremer commander of U 333. A very detailed account of patroles, convoy attacks, and comeing under enemy attack. Anyone else know of this book?

I intended purchasing said title about 18 months back but never got round to it for reasons that escape me

Let us know what you think of it....I could well be tempted again
