SH3 Mandatory Mods

Hi everyone, i'm new here... i am REALLY enjoying SH3 (it's the best there is) with GWX 3 Gold... but it's getting kinda dull and boring so i was wondering if any of you could tell me some more mandatory or at least, useful/cool mods that i could enjoy (maybe some extra ships, uboat skins(or extra uboats), GFX improvements, gameplay, sounds, or any of that stuff). Note that i am only using GWX and no other mods (i tried searching for them, but there's just so many and i don't know which is outdated, and so on). Oh and also has the dynamic shadow mod been released ?
