Default Screenshot: Anti-submarine net

Another interesting tidbit from external view. This is an anti-submarine net that is in the south opening to scapa flow. The opening is a bit further along to the west.

Ahh,the infamous nets eh?,interesting pic,I havent actually come across any yet. What exactly do they do,just trap you and prevent you going any further?.Nope, just looking at your messages at the bottom you are taking damage
You should have a tin opener on the front of your UBoat mate

Minor damage to the bow,
Loud scraping noises,
are the usual effects of nets,
They also as mentioned eat torpedo's,

And I have seen Destroyers hang themselves up on a net presenting an easy target

Nasty
What exactly where they made from to cause such damage to a UBoat?
