GWX3 Single Missions

I'm interested in trying a heavy action convoy mission to test something, can any of you guys point me to something heavy ? Many thanks.

I probably spend more time in GWX SM's than I do in Career mode.

For probably the same reasons.

Try the Convoy missions in 1943-44 they seem the toughist.

Btw I try different Subs of the same year as the mission too.

Much obliged shipmate. However I'm not so much looking for something player challenging, more computer taxing if you get my drift. I'm testing a small app regarding dual/quad core cpu's, see this post

The HAPPY TIMES sm might be what your looking for. A ton of ships and no waiting for action.

It's easy to get right into the middle of them.

Keep us all posted on your test results.

If your prepared to consider something slightly different to a convoy, might I suggest one of the Single missions I wrote for GWX3.0 'Early Christmas'.

This will put you up against a large US Battlegroup

Fuber, PQ 17 is a rather large convoy action without escort. Easy and quick to get right into the center of the convoy. Must run submerged, even then freighters will target your periscope.

Thanks for all your suggestions chaps.

After much testing I can report a 10% minimum increase in fps using the small application found at Toms Hardware. Testing was done using the Happy Times s/m. I tried with outside view both en/disabled to see if there was any hit but at no time did I get any slow downs or stutter, an average of 95 fps in action. All this with 2x2 Supersampling/Super Transparency AA and 4x Anistropic filtering at a 1920x1200 screen res, using an 8800GTX 768 Ram with SLI disabled. Here is the link...........
