Voice Replacements

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know any good mods that will replace my crews American accents to a German language? this is my main gripe with the game. I wish they could speak German.

Secondly,
Does anyone know of a sound mod that replaces 'Crash Dive' with the prototypical 'AAALLAAARRMMM' and bell sounds? I know GWX has something close but I still can't get over the expressionless 'Crash Dive' order that's given in vanilla SH3.

In the options bit when loading SH3 there is option to have German voices with English language translations,As for the sound mod.I'd recommend P'thomsenssound mod,it's huge and covers all available orders and sounds great,all the best and welcome

Thanks Nikbear. I already had Thomsens sound mod, just didn't know it!

It seems having the German voices has "unlocked" some extra thomsen sounds anyway

Try the Das Boot Sound Mod from the downloads section.Also there is a langauge option in the main game options menu.

The game has German voices. You can find them under 'Sound Options'.

The Das Boot Sound Mod replaces most of them with sounds from the movie, especially that one.

I like the Das Boot voices from WAC, just copy the files from WAC into any other version and you get the alaaaaarm, surface etc from the movie.
