Google earth reveals a 'secret' submarine base in the UK.

Oh? They finally unblanked Faslane?

Nothing really that secret about it, and if any terrorists tries to get in there, they'll find themselves on the wrong end of a Royal Marine or SBS, and that's not somewhere I'd be for love nor money. Besides, Bangor is on Google Earth IIRC, and no terrorists have bombed that, stupid Sun newspaper

BTW, there's some more old British boomers over near Edinburgh waiting to be cut up, old Resolution class SSBNs, they're on Windows Earth or whatever its called on aircraft view too:

Well you can get fairly close the the nuclear submarine base in faslane not close enough to launch a strike with rockets though but still, and they do deploy some 5,000 marines to gaurd the place the submarines dont leave the base anyway without a royal marine escort its not invincable but its highly gaurded even if a swimmer did get in !

Bear in mind there's also a parking/picnic area about 1/2 a mile up the hill from Faslane on the Glen Fruin road, it offers a lovely view of the bombers:

Yes it is rather lovely up there i only managed to stay for an hour the local populace got very suspisious after a while, i only had a note pad and binoculars.
