No wonder that is why they filmed "The Hobbit" there.

Very good Jim! Reminds me of when Jemmeh Cawtah (Jimmy Carter) was president of these United States. Some folks put together a list to explain Georgia-speak to the rest of us. The only ones I still remember:

Rat cheer: In this very spot.
Ovah theah: In another spot.
Beah: What you order at the bar.
Owal: What gas is made from.

While in aussie, my mates delighted in getting me to pronounce things... like Fush (fish). To their dismay, none of it came out like they thought it would sound. The only ones in the list that are pronounced like you spelt, are the words starting with 'E'. Maybe it's how you listen?

For some more New Zealand language fun, watch that. Great work by whoever did it. I would've thought "Sheeped As" would've been a better fit though. Those kiwis are always shagging their sheep!

Kidding, promise.

@Kiwi and Akbar; I have my suspicions about you two. Neither of you end your posts with the traditional "eh bro".
