My favorites is :

1). " He's ev'rywhere " that lyrics in that song ,
reminds me of myself:p :p

2). "It's foolish but it's fun " that song charming me
3). At last , "Lilie Marlene " :p

i have to say they made good songs in those " happy times "

Haha, with you on 'Foolish but it's fun,' always perks me up on a long patrol. I'm also fond of that one rousing German song, almost sounds kind of folksy... Not sure what it's called, and I'm crap at describing songs lol.

And of course, 'It's a Long Way to Tipperary' (The Red Army Choir version that comes with Jimbuna's gramophone pack is quite entertaining)

I beleive the song you are refering to is my all time favorite German war song Westerwald. The lyrics are quite funny for sounding so military.
