Default Nuclear Nightmares (documentary Veoh player)

Small doses is good for you. :hmm:

Quote:
For twenty years scientists have been studying the aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster for people and wildlife. What they ... have found contradicts many common beliefs about the effects of radiation. As this film reveals, leading scientists are now questioning the assumptions that have for decades governed their thinking about the dangers of radiation.

mm,very interesting kiwi, thank you. Too late for the Chernobyl people who were uprooted. All that suffering and pain and loss - perhaps it was not really necessary. Sad

You absorb some radiation from the sun, you know. The sun is actually a critical element in producing Vitamin D, which works with Vitamin A.

I wouldn't advise taking in radiation as a medicine or eating radiated foods, though. Eben Byers bought and used radium because, during the '20s and '30s, it was thought to be a cure-all drug. Ate holes in his skull (not to mention formed puss spots on his brain) and also added a huge amount of radium in his bones, which caused him to lose most functionality of his jaw.

Not sure I'd trust an admitted 'Biased' news agency, funded by its government, on anything political or religious, to tell me if Radiation is good for me. :hmm::hmm::hmm:

Thanks guys but more info you really think this radiation thing could be just over doing it? See me plan is to slip this doc to our new govenment and new glorious leader John Key with his Jewish roots he just might see it my way and go pro nuclear of course the Greens will be up in arms and call it communist propaganda but no harm in trying huh.:hmm:

Maybe then one summers day while waiting at an Auckland port baking in radiation sunlight I might actually get to see a nuclear sub or aircraft carrier roll into our ports!

Happy New Year.
