I am, 64 bit. Not a single problem. Copied the game folder from my xp install, create shortcut and thats that.

Only issues Ive heard of is installing into programs and trying to enable mod- UAC nonsense

I have Vista 64 (similar to W7). Just try installing to "Programs Files(x86)" or directly to your C: drive. Install as Administrator, disable UAC and don't forget to restart your PC (so it's recognized by the system registry). Also, disable any Virus Scanning/Firewall apps before installing.

I have Win 7 64 bit Home Premium, and have had no trouble whatsoever. I installed on a 2nd hard drive to avoid the UAC problem, and at the very least recommend installing outside the "Program Files" folder rather than turning off UAC. After all, it is part of your security system.

No problems with Win7 Pro, 64-bit. As suggested above, do not install in the default directory. I made a new directory named C:Games/Ubisoft/... and it went in just fine. If you already had an install, you should first not only delete all files for SH4 in the default directory, but also the SH4 files in your "Documents" directory. The only crashes I get now are for trying to use time compression too close to a harbor while attempting an external view of some kind. It seems to overload my twin SLI ATI 5800 cards!

Ahoy Bill,
Using Win7 64bit. It even loaded in the program files folder. There seems to be two of them. However, absolutely, load the game in it's own file on the C/ drive.
Once loaded, Win7 loves the game.
Sometimes it's good to try a couple of times, let us know how it's going.
Hope all is well by the time you read this.

Funny all of you having that problem, I have W7 and it runs smoothly. So possibly it is a matter of (in)compatibility with something else.
