Gwx Gold Single Missons

I don't see to much posting about these. They are a game in themselves.

A great way to practice tactics and try different subs.

If you want to take on a large convoy try HX228 (GWX)

It even has a Hunter\Killer group attached to it.

While the misson gives you a VIIC I switched to a IXC.

Tons of variety. There's even a milche cow north of you to rearm and refuel.

Any body else play them ?

I would of thought there would be some response.

I guess I'm the only one smart enough to use them.

I'd tell you my favourites, but then I'd be accused of being bias

Jim, you're biased.

There. Now that that's out of the way, go ahead and tell us.

Okay....I wrote 'Curacao' because I love sinking tankers and 'Early Christmas' because it's not often you get to tangle with a US battlegroup.

I just don't find them worth the 15 minute load time to be honest. If I have to wait that long I might as well go out on a full patrol and get my money's worth.

Although I suppose if I enable the blank campaign files I could cut down the times to nothing...

Right then

I've never played a mission. Having to find, track, and intercept a target is a lot more gratifying, IMO.

Loading a career takes 20 minutes for me, so I really don't have the patience to spend 30% of my SH3 time loading.

As posted above
Adding in blank campaign files or the GWX online campaign set - http://files.filefront.com/GWX3+onli.../fileinfo.html - will speed up loading for single missions a whole lot

Hardware upgrades have never been cheaper.

My little boy plays the single missions. He loves them.

It's kinda tough to upgrade laptops .

Also in tough times like this, money is much better spent on real concerns - not toys.

Checkers rocks though !
