NF2 Aircraft Question

I know I should probably go over to NavyField website and ask there...but I have searched and frankly am afraid of getting SLAMMED if I do...so here goes.

I have an Omaha CL. I have a pilot. When I load a plane on the ship and a pilot in support, the neat little round controls for my guns disappear and are replaced by a rectangle job to control the planes.

Is there a way to switch between the two during battles? (My keyboard skills are not the best with my left hand anymore and I prefer to use the mouse). If not, then I guess I am stuck with trying to sell a pilot because I will never use him...

Well, the plane control box is pretty much the only way to actually control your planes anyway, and it becomes pretty important later on. The gun control panel disappears on CA and above anyways.

If you're having trouble working with your left hand, maybe you could rebind the keys and use your right hand to control the aiming instead? But then you'd have to learn to mouse with your left.

Well, I am not ready for that yet...so I just shelled out the $$ for an Oakland, no a/c, and now that I am broke...time to try and HA myself back into a few $$...next step will be a Baltimore I think...
