GWX 2.1 woe

hello folks, unhappy me here. I downloaded GWX 2.1 yesterday and installed it today. No problems I am aware of. It says it is 2.1 on the splash screen - but as soon as we get to 'not so long ago', it ctd's, and kernel.dll seems to be the problem.

I haven't got Commander running and the only mod is the orange marker. I do have nHancer tweaks to the graphics card.

Has anyone else had problems and could advise?

I am on xpsp3

your gonna tell me I have to start ALL OVER AGAIN from scratch aren't ya, I can feel it in me wellies.
I have had so many re-starts since beginning this game... doh, grumble grumble
