What is your preferred targeting method?

OK, file me in the "something else" category.

I use Periscope observations, or occasionally radar and/or active sonar, and Hitman's Kriegsmarine whiz-wheel. I enter the data manually into the vorhaltrechner.

I don't plot contacts, either on the in-game map or seperately on a maneuvering board or graph paper, although I have done all three in the past.

I agree with Chisum. After all, I am the great and mighty captain, and i allow my officers the pleasure of running the necessary calculations.

I like the idea of letting the officers do the work, but unfortunately they are way too perfect for someone who considers himself a realism buff.

I'm slowly learning U-Jagd tools, which has an on-screen version of the whiz-wheel.
