Default [Help] Playable ship

Would appreciate any help,

1. Do I need the propellers from a sub, or can I use the ones already on the ship.

2. If the ship has 4 propellers, can I use all four? Or do I just use 2? And if I can use four, do I need to add two more Prop shafts in the UPC?

Thanks for any assistance.

You need not use the ones from the Submarine.
Important is it to have int the sim file a unit_Submarine controller. there you can link the ships propellers.

4 Porpellers are not problem, just rightklick, add array item and enter its name.

Thanks Xantro, I knew how to add in the .sim file but I don't know if I need to add two more Propeller shafts in the .upc to use them.

Thanks sqk and Xantro,

Appreciate the help, I thought I had a handle on it. I cloned (with Mikhayl's tutorial) the Sen Toku sub and made it playable but I just can't seem to do the same with a ship. It keeps crashing and i just can't seem to figure out why. I have the dive planes, torp tube, aiSub, UnitSub,Torpsubsystem, everything linked. In the mission editor it shows as a playable sub, but it just won't work. I'll keep at it. I'm missing something, just have to find it.
