Reminds me of the old joke about who has the smartest enlisted personel.

The war comes:

Army: Soldier is rousted out of his bunk at 0400. Immediately mustered for drill. His Captain gives a pep talk, ending with "Let's give them hell, men!"

Marines: Marine is rousted out of his tent at 0300. He's still dirty from the fifty-mile hike the day before. He doesn't even get time for chow. His company commander, a Captain, gives him a pep talk that ends with "Let's give 'em hell, boys!"

Navy: Sailor is suddenly awakened by the famous call "General Quarters! General Quarters! All hands man your battle stations!" After a long wait the ship's Captain comes on the intercalm, giving them the rundown, and ending with "I expect every man to do his duty. Give them hell, men!"

Air Force: Airman is awakened at 0700 by a phone call. He goes to his closet and puts on his uniform, neatly pressed by the dry-cleaners. He hops in his car and stops at McDonald's for breakfast on his way to the base. He then changes into his coveralls and preps the plane. When the pilot, a Captain, shows up he helps him into his flight suit and parachute, straps him into the cockpit, steps back, gives him a smart salute and says "Give them hell, sir!"

That picture is innaccurate.

For every hot chick, you need an "escort" of about 10 to 15 horny dudes, every one of them trying to be her best friend in the hopes of being the one to score.

For every fugly chick you need an escort of about 5 to 10 horny dudes doing the same.

Overseas this changes.

Hot chicks are ummm.. well, buried somewhere..

Fugly chicks get their assigments extended because here they are considered "godesses" because their American **ssy and not another little BFM.

One interesting thing about the AF, is it has many faces in terms of job or living conditions. The difference between desk jocky, and "i work for a living" is so stark in the AF, it defies belief. All the sterotypes are true, and yet, all the sterotypes are false.
