No gun sound

Hi,
I had GWX loaded and running fine, then my guns stopped "banging".
I cleaned the installation off the computer then reinstalled with 1.4. Still all I get is a click when my gun fires. How can this be?

If you installed any mods over GWX and using Commander, did you roll-back first? Or perhaps altered any T/C settings before you installed mods?

Hi Danurve,
I am using the latest SHCommander which rolls back automatically, I believe?
However, I deleted it, and the SH3 file, and, for good measure, the Prefetch file,and the sound is back, although only in real time, any T/C and it stops.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
