Default UK Members, Crewe by-election

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/itn/2008052...d-dba1618.html

What a result for the Conservatives, and a hard kick in the teeth for Labour. After 30 years in the by-election dust bowl the Conservatives strike back with a victory and a 17.6% swing to them.

Do you think we are now seeing the tide turn against Labour now?

One thing that must have played a role was that 10p tax issue, Gordon Brown is heading for hard times from his party and if next years County Council elections go against him will there be move in Labour to bring down Gordon Brown?

I'm glad Labour are getting a kick at the moment.
But the last party I want to be in power across the water are the Tories.
George Osborne as chancellor? You gotta be joking. Thta's almost as bad as Des Browne in charge of the military!
