Default Major report links smog to deaths

I think global warming is all a sham in more ways than one, but pollution and particulates in the air are of concern to me.

This is a familiar phrase, substitue smoking, global warming etc in the above sentence.
As a small boy in England I remember the introduction of smoke free zones as people were dying in smog. Why this should be disputed now is beyond me.
