Default Playable Milchkuh?

Horrido Kaleuns,

doesn anybody know if there is a playable "Milchkuh"/ type XIV uboat around? Can the AI version of this uboat be modified in a way that it is playable? Any advise would be very much appreciated!

Cheers, Kurfürst

Hi Kurfürst !

Over the years I've nothing heard about an playable Type XIV Sub !

BTW, what would you do with this Sub-Type ? I mean, an Type XIV Sub has no own Torpedoes, only Flaks...! Too Big, long diving times, and so on....!

How would play in SH3 an Patrol / Campaign without Torpedoes ?

Best regards,
Magic

Horrido Magic,

why no create a "Milchkuh Resupply Mission" and do something different than sinking any enemy vessels? Try to find other uboats, escape from Hunter-Killer groups, defend your boat against air attacks, and so on...

Horrido Josef,

maybe slightly off-topic, but there will be a great book about "Milchkühe" and Minelayers be published in spring 2012. Some never-ever published pictures and charts included. If you´re interested I´ll be happy let you know when it will be available!

Kind regards, Kurfürst

Aside from the inside not being as large? One could do a type XIV mod fairly easily.
Swap the externals with a standard type VII and move a few Nodes,
edit out the torps, and it would be the start.
