Is there a list of u-boats that ACTUALLY survived the war?? I found a list of boats that did not make it to the end, and causes of loses, but I cant remember where. I would like to start a career in a boat that DID survive. I FINALLY managed to build a mini-uberboat. A IXB with a VIIC/4 (flak tower) conning tower. It has a quad 20mm & 2 souped-up twin 37mm mounts, and is loaded with 28 type 5 homming torps.
I used uberboot for part of the referense materials (I hope you dont mind MM), a touch of TT's mini tweaker, a dash of wolfies tweaks, and a WHOLE LOT of trial & error (a lot, hell, more like a Texas sized bunch of error). :rotfl:

I still am not certain exactly what or how I did it, but Thank You All for all the help especially those whose works I borrowed. I might just learn something yet if I am not careful. So far everything appears to be working. All weapons can be manned & fired. I will try it for a couple of days to make sure. If it works like I hope it will I will probably get bored with it before long & I will have to find a new project.

I would like to know about those survivors however.. Thanx All
