I have this excellant film in two different cheapie multi pack military films
from the discount bin at walmart or your local bookstore.

the version I have in hand here came in a fifty pack of films from
walmart it was made by Treeline films and is called

"War Classics" its a fifty movie pack on twelve discs some drama
and half documentaries. it was dirt cheap and ive scene the same
basic package of public domain films in various packagings and names
with 5-10-20 and fifty film versions (and no doubt more)

so root around the bargain bin near your place you may be surprised
occasionally with the treasure you find, mine was twenty bucks.

heres a link to the film info etc.

I've just picked up a box set of WW2 in colour. It has colour footage from all theaters of the conflict including the submarine sea war.

Haven't had chance to watch it yet but it was only £5.99 for five disks. Cheap as chips:p

You mught find a copy on amazon or ebay

On Ebay I bought a DVD with 3 or 4 "movies" on it from the 40's and 50's. One is a documentary on the fleet boat and was made in the late 40's, I believe.

Check out Ebay Item # 140197466693. He has two for sale right now at $15.00 each - two separate auctions.

Any one else notice that in these films, even the one on the DVD that came with the game, that all the underwater shots of the submarine, are Type 7 Uboats.:hmm:

They're reusing stock footage just like a lot of 1950's US Sub movies like Run Silent, Run Deep and Operation Pacific.

Also, one of the movies on the DVD from Ebay is about capturing U-505.
