Default Limited Depthcharges?

Hello evrybody,

yesterday I had the desire to sail the pacific-ocean again, and so I booted my windows-engine and entered my gato-sub (a career I started in the 2007s ;-)).

All went fine - except that I spent all my torps on some small cargo-vessels and stumpled upon a 3BBs and 4 CAs Taskforce on my way home. My remaining 3 torps all hit the Kongo-Class - but she continued her way without even noticing...

After refuling and rearming my sub at midway, I found a small convoy in the Formosa-Street. Nice one.. 6 vessels and only ONE escort (little subchaser). But that one was a really tough guy. He tracked me long before I was able to aim at the cargo-vessels and it was really hard to get rid of him. I spend 5 torps (I really wanted to get the cargo ;-)) on him and he evaded all. I did all kinda tricks - but he tracked me on and on again... real good guy!

But what was amazing... he dropped really a lot of dc's. And that is my question. Is a limited number of DCs (according to ship-class) modeled in SH4? I'm sureI counted more that 15 drops (each one firing 4 DCs)... Thats quite a large number for such a little piece of steel...

Regards from Germany...

PS : Using Patch 1.4 with latest TM
