Never had a fps problem yet in this game, but pulling out of my first mission in salimas, very choppy.

Anyone else notice?

If your palaying GWX or any other mod using harbour traffic, that will more than likely be the cause.
If it's GWX your playing, enable the Lite Harbor Traffic mod

Sorry, gwx 2.0, no mods, late 41.

I've played gwx before and haven't had fps issues with other harbors. First time I tried Salamis.

I've just tried Salamis and have experienced an approx fps drop of 10% but nothing too much to worry about. About 30km out of base and the fps picks back up

As Jim said if you have no problems in other harbours you should not have one in Salamis. Nevertheless if you feel the game lags a lot try the little harbour traffic that comes with GWX

Odd as Salamis has substantially less traffic than Kiel - esp as Kiel has 3 ports in range when the game starts
I suspect the terrain has something to do with it in Salamis
:hmm:

This is a valid point I experienced an unexpected FPS drop in Salamis too, apart from the usual first few seconds when the port loads... dunno what caused it but had just installed a new skin on my boat, and it wasn't gamebreaking really :hmm:

I think it's the palm trees.

It's not unplayable, but it is definitely not smooth and kinda ruins the trip out.
