Default [TEC] post processing filter

I really like PPS during daytime, the ocean looks better more color differences (shades).
Exactly what I dislike without PPS, everything.. sky and ocean look like one color of blue.

During nights and sunrise and sunsets. It's the opposite.
Without PPS looks much better.

Would it be possible to mix the daytime colors of PPS with the nights without PPS.
Can this filter be adjusted ?

:hmm:

I haven't played around with it myself, but modifying the values in the text files in Data\Filters\timeofday\x should allow you to achieve what you desire. These values are fed into the CompoundFilterPS.fx shader (this is the shader that does the Post-Processing).

i don't think you can modified values especially for daytime and different one for nighttime... It's "one" value used both for daytime and nightime

Thanks guys..

Maybe it's possible too lower the PPS to around 50%.

I will plays with both the timeofday file and the shader.
p.s. which program must I use to open the CompoundFilterPS.fx ?

Keep you informed.

Foo, since you brought it up. I noticed less frequent flashing when I turn on the PPF. Then again, it might be my new card making the flashes less frequent :hmm:

Check out the files in the directory I provided. It allows you to specify different saturation/color shifting values for different times of day.
