Default Sticky Nav Plots

I'm a newbie to this game, having just finished my first patrol (U-2, 2 freighters for 8,786 tons,) but I have one problem I can't find a fix for. When I put a nav plot into the nav map, or when I have the Navigator do it, I seem to be stuck with that plot. If I change my mind, or some other event pops up, no matter what I do the plot stays stuck to my ship's icon on the map. As soon as I give the system free rein again, the ship tries to follow the old plot. And if I try to create a new plot, it just gets appended onto the end of the previous plot.

At one point, I was following a plot to my patrol sector when I encountered a merchant. I maneuvered around and sunk the ship. Then I decided to just make a new nav plot to a different point in my sector, but that resulted in a nav plot that followed my original plot into the sector, then back to the point where I put in the second plot, then back to the sector.

How do I delete these plots?

You can remove the nav points using the erasor tool (top of the screen, the 2nd or 3th frm the right)

When you use the Plotting tool you can move the nav points. Make sure you have the nav tool active. Mouse over a nav point press LMB (left mouse button) keep it pressed and move the nav point around.

if you keep CTRL pressed also you can set nav points inbetween.

This is about all I know about plots.

Looney,

Thanks! It's the plots I'm having problems with, and the eraser doesn't touch them. But knowing how to move them would be a big help.

To erase the plots put the eraser over the little flag icons of the plots and press LMB

Alternatively, you can hilight a nav point with your cursor, click and hold it with your LMB and drag it to a new location.
