Default Burial at sea?

I was wondering if someone created a burial at sea mod than just the crew icons disappering, like maby music and a casket?

I know for a fact that Venatore has created a music add-on for that specific purpose. Search his drive-thru and you'll probably find it!

I never bury my dead because the game does not recognize them as KIA if you bury at sea. It's like they were never a part of the crew at all. Better to return to port with their bodies which represent their personal effects.

morale would go down if members of the crew are killed on patrol. more realistic.

As the war progressed, many of the submarines themselves became burial caskets

It might not have been a problem in terms of material, since perhaps the carpenter (or whoever played that role on a sub) would have been able to fabricate something out of scrap materials. However I agree that it would be impractical because of the the scarcity of such supplies, the desire to dispose of the victim ASAP, and the need to manhandle it through a crowded submarine. Also, even on larger combatants like aircraft carriers IIRC it was customary to bury bodies sewed up in canvas, as opposed to a casket. If not even heavy surface ships used coffins I don't think subs would have either.

Canvas/bedding has always been the preferred material
